साहब जी महाराज के बचन

  हुजूर साहब  जी  महाराज के बचन / : बचन नं 12

     3 अक्टूबर , 1964 को शाम के सतसंग में हुजूर साहबजी महाराज का एक बचन पोशाक के बारे में पढ़ा गया जिसमें फ़रमाया गया कि " भाईचारा व साम्य हमारी विशेषताएँ हों , आपसी संगठन हमारा जातीय शब्द हो और हम पोशाक के ध्यान से , भाषा के ध्यान से और बरताव व व्यवहार के ध्यान से एक जान दो क़ालिब ( शरीर ) हों । "

     इस बचन के बाद हुजूर मुअल्ला ने हँसते हुए मिश्राजी से ( जो बचन पढ़ रहे थे ) फ़रमाया आपने यह बचन 22 सितम्बर के पहले क्यों नहीं पढ़ा ? अगर आपने पहले पढ़ा होता तो मुझे जो इतनी बार औरतों के पोशाक के बारे में कहना पड़ा ( सलवार और कुरता पहनने के लिए ) वह न कहना पड़ता । उन्होंने उत्तर में निवेदन किया हुजूर ! गलती हो गई । फिर हुजूर ने फ़रमाया कि संतों के बचनों का महत्व व मसलहत समझना बहुत कठिन है । वह जो बचन फ़रमाते हैं यह आवश्यक नहीं कि उन पर वह उसी समय अमलदरामद करना चाहते हों । हुजूर साहबजी महाराज ने समय समय पर तरह तरह के बचन फ़रमाए जिन पर उसी समय अमल कराना उन की मंशा नहीं थी परन्तु कुछ समय बाद उन पर अमल करने की आवश्यकता प्रतीत हुई और उन पर अमल किया गया ।   

     फिर फ़रमाया कि लोगों के लिए खर्च का बढ़ाना आसान होता है , लेकिन कम करना बहुत मुश्किल होता है । मैं देखता हूँ कि अक्सर लड़के पैंट पहन कर खेतों में आते हैं और वे लग कर काम नहीं करते क्योंकि पैंट पहने हुए उन्हें उठने बैठने में तकलीफ होती है । अगर वह पायजामा पहना करें तो उठने बैठने में आसानी हो और फिर , वे . काम फुर्ती से कर सकते हैं । इसके अलावा पायजामा पहनने से आर्थिक बचत हो सकती है । पैंट की सिलाई कम से कम ढाई , तीन रुपया लगती है और प्रायजामा चार आने में सिल जाता है । पैंट की अपेक्षा पायजामें में कपडा कम लगता है और पायजामें का कपडा पैंट की अपेक्षा कम क़ीमत वाला होता है । मैं सब पुरुषों व लड़कों को सलाह दूंगा कि वह पायजामा इस्तेमाल किया करें । जिनके पास पुरानी पैंटें सिली सिलाई रखी हैं वह उनको इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं परन्तु वह नई न बनवायें । हाँ , कॉलेजों व आफ़िसों में व विशेष उत्सवों में जाने के उद्देश्य से एक या दो पैंट बनवा लें और शेष समय में पायजामा पहना करें ।

     On 3" October a discourse of Sahabji Maharaj on the subject of dress of Satsangis was read out in the evening Satsang and Huzur Mehtaji Sahab explained how brotherly relationship and equality should be our qualities, Unity should be our watchword and we should from the point of view of dress, from the point of view of language and in our conduct and behaviour be united and one, as if we have only one soul though separate bodies

    This discourse of Huzur Sahabji Maharaj was so appropriate and suited to the main topic of discussion these days that Huzur Mehtaji Sahab jokingly enquired why this discourse had not been read earlier ie before 22 September, for if it had been read carlier, he would have been saved from saying all he had to say to make Satsangi ladies put on kurta and salwar. Huzur Mehtaji Sahab thereafter observed as below:

     It is difficult to understand the significance and importance of the discourses and statements of the Saints. It is not necessary that they want that action according to their advice be taken immediately when they give the advice or deliver a discourse. Huzur Sahabji Maharaj at different times delivered many discourses, though it was not His intention that action on them be taken immediately thereafter.

     

Huzur continued. It is easy for people to increase their expenditure but to reduce it would be very difficult. I see that the boys often come to fields wearing pants and do not work with application for it becomes difficult for them to sit and stand wearing pants. If he wears pyjama it would be easy to stand or sit and they can work conveniently. Apart from this it would be economical to wear pyjama. Tailoring charges for pant would be atleast two and a half or three rupees and you can get a pyjama stitched for four annas The cloth needed would be less and it would be less costly as compared to cloth of a pant. I advise all men and boys that they should wear pyjamas. Those who have pants stitched with them they can use them but they should not get new ones stitched. Yes they can have a pant or two stitched for going to college or office or for special functions. The rest of the time they should wear pyjamas.
