 वचन  नं 9 / 19 जुलाई , 1959 रविवार को लड़कों के सतसंग में यह शब्द पढ़ा गया ।

ऐ सतगुरु पिता और मालिक मेरे ।

 19 जुलाई , 1959 रविवार को लड़कों के सतसंग में यह शब्द पढ़ा गया ।

ऐ सतगुरु पिता और मालिक मेरे ।

मैं चरनों पै क़ुरबान हर दम तेरे ।। 1 ।।

 हुजूर ने इस शब्द को दोबारा पढ़वाया और इसकी अंतिम दो कड़ियों की ओर सबका ध्यान आकृष्ट किया । फ़रमाया - इस शब्द में यह बात छात्रों की ओर से संकेत में वर्णन की गई है के मेरी यानीप्रत्येक छात्र की यह अभिलाषा है कि जब तक वह जीवित रहे , चले , फिरे या परिश्रम करे या जहाँ पर पढ़े और लिखे या किसी से कोई बातचीत करे इन समस्त कामों के करने में उससे कोई ऐसा काम न बन पड़े जो गुरु महाराज की मर्जी व आज्ञा के विरुद्ध हो । प्रत्येक छात्र उनकी आज्ञा के अनुसार चित्त देकर पढ़े और बेकार व हानिकारक बातों में अपना समय और पैसा नष्ट न करे । ऐसा करने से गुरु महाराज की प्रसन्नता उसे प्राप्त होगी और वह उनका दया पात्र बनेगा । जीवन में फले फूलेगा और उन्नति करेगा । फिर हुजूर ने पूछा कि जो प्रतिज्ञा छात्रों की ओर से इस शब्द में की गई है , आप लोगों में कौन कौन उस पर चलने को तैयार हैं ?

समस्त छात्रों ने हाथ उठाकर अपनी सहमति दी ।

 Bachan No. 9

 On 19th July 1959, the following Shabda was recited in the students' Satsang:

ऐ सतगुरु पिता और मालिक मेरे ।

मैं चरनों पै क़ुरबान हर दम तेरे ।। 1 ।।

Huzur got the Shabda read again and drew the attention of all of them to the last two couplets. He was pleased to remark that the indication is that the prayer has been addressed on behalf of the students that it is my, ie. every student's desire that as long as he lives, while walking, going around or doing some work, and whether he reads or writes or speaks, he should not do anything which would not be in accordance with the wishes of Guru Maharaj or would be contrary to what meet with His approval. Every student should study with full attention acucording to His orders and not waste his time or money in harmful activities. By doing so he will secure the pleasure of Guru Maharaj and receive His Grace. Huzur then asked which of them was prepared to act in accordance with this.
